Format Tulisan Artikel Untuk Publikasi

1. General Guidelines: 9 main components

a.          Title and Author

b.         Abstract

c.          Introduction  

d.         Literature Review

e.          Research Model and Hypothesis

f.          Methodology

g.         Results and Discussion

h.         Conclusions, Limitations and Future Research

i.           Reference

2. Quality of Article

a.          Having research gap to be solved.

b.         Showing novelty or newness.

c.          The findings give new benefit totheory or business or society.

d.         Future study indicates its potential new findings

Format

1. Title Max 8 words, including “and”.

2. Abstract as short as possible, in single space

a.    No reference and not mentioning any author at all

b.    Initial one or two sentences have theoretical or practical gap.

c.    Then some main theories to resolve the gap.

d.   Indicate the goal of the study in resolving the gap.

e.    Main methodology and sampling

f.     One or two interesting main findings

g.    Close with key words in separate space

3. Introduction

            a.     Open with the gap from the Abstract with references.

            b.    Put forth all variables: their meaning and their relationship.

            c.     As well as the disputes, disagreements among authors

            d.    Give the context of the industry or company.

            e.     Write the novelty of the study and its refernce.

            f.     Final paragraph informs the topics of the reminder of writing

4. Literature ReviewReview

            a.     Goal: building comprehensive understanding on study’s topic

            b.    Compare or contrast, similarity or dissimilarity, on the debate on the empirical or theoretical
            sources in the literature

            c.     Must use recent references (year 2000 or above)

            d.    Closing remark with big picture on the essence of the study

5. Research Model (Theoretical Framework)

            a.     Describing “path dependency” between antecedents (asdrivers) to influence consequences
            (as the outcome)

            b.    Such path dependency is expressed in hypothesis, to be tested

            c.     The terms for all variables should be used exactly all the way

6.  Hypotheses

            a.     Define the variables and discuss from literature on how one variable impacting the other
            variable (through dimensions).

            b.    Dimensions of the variables (also) become the basis for Questionnaires

7. Methodology

           a.     Method of research: quantitative or qualitative, give reason

           b.    Quantitative: Using statistics to answer research questions on uncertainty of the relationship
           by empirical investigation.

           c.     Qualitative: Describing the context of study on what, how,

           d.    when, where by analyzing experience, behavior, relationship = Case study or conceptual
           study on the phenomena

           e.     Respondents: from the context of the field research:

           f.     Unit of analysis: all units in organization (CEOs, managers)

           g.    Population: all players in the industry

           h.    Sample of respondents: focus on selected population.

           i.      Respondents: 100 units of analysis or more

           j.      Questionnaire: perception of the respondents on:

           k.    Company background or characteristics, and achievments 

           l.      Dimensions of each variable, on what has happened

          m.  Pre-test for relevancy and understandability

8. Measurement Measuring the dimensions of each variable, with Likert scaling.

9. Results

           a.     Descriptive analysis showing characteristics of respondents.

           b.    Analysis of the statistical tests on the significant of hypotheses

10. Discussion results of the hypothesis findings

           a.     On the statistical significance, show the support which theories

           b.    On the insignificance, the study mentions not supporting which theory, then find other theory
           to support the finding

11. Conclusion

           a.     General conclusion: summary the essence of overall research

           b.    Important findings: the significant and insignificant ones

           c.     Research contribution: Theoretical, Managerial, Public Policy.

           d.    Limitations of the study

           e.     Recommendations for future study.

12. Reference All citations should be listed in the Reference
